Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of cutmystorage.com (the “Site”) and the Cut My Storage service (the “Service”), operated by Cut My Storage (“we,” “us”). By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or the Service.
What we do
Cut My Storage emails your current storage facility and similar storages within about 3 miles, on your behalf, to ask for written rates. We send you the written rates we receive. You decide what to do next. We never move you without your OK.
Free for renters
Cut My Storage is free for renters. Cut My Storage currently receives no payment from any storage facility.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Your authorization
By submitting a request and checking the consent box, you authorize Cut My Storage to contact your current storage facility and nearby competing facilities on your behalf, by email, to request rate information and a lower rate. This authorization is limited to requesting and receiving rate information. We do not sign agreements, make payments, reserve units, or make decisions for you. You can withdraw this authorization at any time by emailing hello@cutmystorage.com. You confirm that you are the renter of the unit or are authorized to act for the renter, and that the information you provide is accurate.
No guarantees
We do not promise or guarantee any savings, rate, or response from any facility, and we do not promise any timeline. Facilities set their own rates and terms. Any agreement you make is between you and the facility.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You can create an account with email and password or with Google.
Acceptable use
Do not submit false information, use the Site for unlawful purposes, or try to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to the Site.
Third parties
We are not responsible for storage facilities’ actions, rates, policies, or services, or for third-party websites linked from the Site.
Disclaimer
The Site and the Service are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any rate information we receive or pass on is accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cut My Storage will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost savings, lost profits, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Site or the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service. The Service is free for renters.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and ask us to close your account at any time by emailing hello@cutmystorage.com. We may suspend or end your access to the Site or the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we stop offering the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including No guarantees, Disclaimer, Limitation of liability, and Governing law, will survive.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these Terms and will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
